I live in Manchester, UK - which is a good place to be in when you constantly want to move forwards and meet new people. However, being somewhere so fast-paced has almost made forget how to relax.
I started taking pictures when I was in Sixth Form to assist my paintings, then after a few years ditched the painting and just took the pictures.
I'm currently studying photography, and am excited to be able to learn more about it as up to now I've been mainly self-taught, apart from the odd book. It's also a good excuse to experiment with my style.
I own quite a few cameras now but I tend to use my Canon EOS 450D and Canon EOS 100 the most - despite the 100 being twenty years older they're very similar apart from one being film and one being digital. I haven't decided which I like more yet: editing on photoshop, or being in a darkroom.
I don't normally plan a picture, except for university assignments.
As well as photography, I also enjoy listening to music, going to the cinema, browsing charity shops, sending and recieving pointless emails, dressing up, drinking tea, reading magazines, putting stuff in my scrapbook, making very long to-do lists, and going on day-trips.
